Please join Kyoto University and S&R Foundation on Thursday, December
17 from 9:00-10:00AM JST (Wednesday, December 16 from 7:00-8:00PM EST or 4:00-5:00PM PST) for a discussion on gender inequality, engaging further with the international community, and creating potential paths to keep Kyoto University moving forward.
Featuring speakers Dr. Kyoko Inagaki, Executive Vice-President of Kyoto University, Nobel Laureate Professor Shinya Yamanaka, Director of the Center for iPS Cell Research and Application (CiRA) at Kyoto University and moderator Ms. Azusa Saito, Attorney at Law at Nishimura & Asahi NY LLP.

This webinar is provided free of charge. The main spoken language for this webinar will be Japanese; however, simultaneous interpretation will be provided for English and Japanese.
The first 1000 registrants to sign into the webinar will be admitted.

山極　壽一　総長、久能　祐子　理事を迎え、新型コロナウィルスが及ぼす
環境・経済への影響と本学における意義について議論します。

will focus on the environmental and economic impact of the novel coronavirus
and its implications for the Kyoto University Community.

This event will be moderated by Ms. Yuki Sako, K&L Gates, LLP and feature
remarks by Dr. Juichi Yamagiwa, President, Kyoto University, and Dr. Sachiko
Kuno, Executive Vice President of Kyoto University.
